Hi Everyone!
This is my first time on this site and its great. I have a question and hopefully someone out there can help me. I am so tired of paying outrageous prices for cheese so I have decided to make my own. What can I say- I figuured I am only going this way once and I don't want to go to my grave and say that I never made homemade cheese. My question though is where can I get some nice fresh milk and not that awful store bought stuff. I mean the good stuff like my grandmother use to have right from a cow. I remember when I was little having it and then when I was a little older having it delivered in glass bottles. Would anyone know anyone here in the area that would be willing to part with some? I would pay for it of course! I just can't make cheese with that stuff in the grocery store. Its like trying to make cheese from water! hahah It just aint gonna happen! hahahh Ok Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and have a great day all. Take care. _________________ Smile! |

Hi there, and welcome.
You could get in contact with trapmama on the forum here, you could leave her a private message. I believe she has cows and sells the milk. |

Hi Cheese, and welcome to the site. You will have to let us know how it turns out! Is home cheese making a slow process...like people crossing parking lots with full carts? _________________ It's 5 o'clock somewhere... Jimmy Buffett |
